Obituary: Harm Klijn, founder of Powerprops

It is with great sadness that we announce that on October 3rd 2024, Harm Klijn, the founder of Powerprops, passed away at the age of 82. As an entrepreneur, Harm laid the foundation for a successful and innovative company with the founding of Powerprops.

Harm will be remembered for his dedication and the lasting legacy he left behind in Powerprops and beyond. His vision lives on in the work of the company and in the hearts of those who knew him.

About us
Situated in a workshop in the centre of Holland near Amsterdam (30 km) and Utrecht (20 km), Harm Klijn is the only specialist on the continent who is fully specialized in the repair and reconditioning of the Lucas MK-I and MK-II mechanical injection system, as fitted to the Maserati Sebring, Mistral, 3500 GT etc. as well as the Triumph TR-5 PI and TR-6 PI ( MK-II ). We are proud to have succeed in improving of the Lucas MK-I and MK-II Injection system for the various Maserati’s and Triumph sportcars. Even though, the components have remained unchanged, many technical improvements has been made!! Also we can repair and overhaul all Lucas 4 cylinder – 6 cylinder – V8 and V12 race systems.
