Situated in a workshop in the centre of Holland near Amsterdam (30 km) and Utrecht (20 km), Harm Klijn is the only specialist on the continent who is fully specialised in the repair and reconditioning of the Lucas MK-I and MK-II mechanical injection system, as fitted to the Maserati Sebring, Mistral, 3500 GT etc. as well as the Triumph TR-5 PI and TR-6 PI ( MK-II ). We are proud to have succeed in improving the reconditioning MK-I and MK-II system for the various Maseratis and Triumph sportcars. Even though the components have remained unchanged, many technical improvements has been made!!

For all types: It is very important that the 'Control Piston' (vacuum piston and chamber) are in good condition!! It is a vacuum controlled system, so it is very important there is no leakage in the chamber!!
Also the efficiency of a vacuum injection system depends largely on the inlet manifold. A vacuum leakage in the inlet manifold is often caused by worn spindles and butterflies. This results in the malfunction of the Metering Unit's supply of petrol to the injectors, causing exessive fuel consumption!! All parts of our manifolds are manufactured under our personal supervision and are especially made for each individual manifold and partly hand-made!!
